Individual therapy for your perinatal journey—helping you find more ease, joy, and connection.

Virtual psychotherapy services for Ontario residents trying to conceive or build their families, navigating grief and loss, currently pregnant, processing birth and birth trauma, and in the postpartum stage.

Hi, I’m Sydney. I am so glad you are here. As a parent to three little ones, I’ve experienced the complexities of the perinatal period, including loss, birth trauma, a NICU stay, breastfeeding challenges, and the shifting sense of identity that can come with parenthood. These experiences have shaped my understanding of how profoundly life can change in these moments and how difficult it can feel to navigate the uncertainty, overwhelm, and intensity of this time.

I commit to showing up as my authentic self in our sessions together, honouring the courage it takes for you to do the same. I bring a warm, relational approach that’s grounded in the belief that healing happens in connection… with ourselves, with others, and within a supportive therapeutic space. My work is rooted in Attachment and Polyvagal Theory, and shaped by modalities including Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic and parts work, and trauma processing approaches like Brainspotting and Flash.

I am extremely passionate and deeply committed to supporting individuals in the perinatal period, a season of profound physical, emotional, and relational change. This work is close to my heart, and I bring both professional training and personal understanding to the complexities it holds. Whether you're navigating the overwhelm of sleepless nights, the complexity of your birth experience, identity shifts, grief, feelings of anxiety or scary and intrusive thoughts, or relational strain, our work together can help you build self-understanding, capacity, and regulation in the midst of it all.

In therapy, we may explore how your nervous system is holding the impact of stress or trauma, how the stories you carry about yourself or parenthood shape your experience, and what helps you feel most safe, seen, and supported. This might mean noticing what your body is telling you, getting curious about inner parts or protective patterns, or simply having space to exhale and be met with compassion. Together, we will find the approach and pace that feels right for you.

Welcome!
